Device which can Repair Wet Phones and Tablets.

A company has prepared a device named “Redux” which can absorb all the humidity of the phone and tablet in one hour when these devices are accidently dropped in water.

When devices like smart phone and tablets fell in water people use hairdryers to dry them and place them in a container which contain rice or even place them in oven to dry these devices. This device is shaped like a lunch box which is hot vacuum chamber and effectively absorbs the humidity of the smartphones. In 2011, the wife of the  co-founder “Joey Trusty” of this company accidentally washed the smart phone in washing machine. After this Joey made a Redux machine and rebuilt that phone again,a few weeks later
he had even built the first prototype of the machine.

After this, in the past year a company named Verizon purchased 700 machines from this company and installed it in 38 major cities. The company claims that it can completely absorb water and soft drinks but it has not been able to repair 100% of the phones.

It’s success rate is 84% according to an estimate which is quite impressive. The company has said that when the phone is exposed to water. First of all, the battery should be removed and do not try to turn it on. If the battery is removed from the devices that are exposed to water, then the chance to recover these devices are high.
