According to the experts, On the 1st and 14th date of the moon, most of the earthquakes are reported. 

Japanese experts has warned that on new and full moon, most dangerous earthquake can hit the globe.On the new and full moon, waves of the sea are higher. But the discussion is continued on this topic that on these events of the moon why the earthquakes are more powerful than usual.
To find the possible answer of this question, expert geologists of university of Tokyo have analysed the position of the moon in the past 20 years in California and Japan in earthquake.
